Requirements

Anyone wishing to attend the FLEAT course or Analyst Academy, MUST be employed in a full-time capacity as an Analyst with a Law Enforcement agency. To attend the FLEAT course, you must have at least 6 months experience as an analyst. To attend the Academy, you must have passed FLEAT and have at least 1 year experience as an analyst. In addition, if you are applying for the Academy, your performance evaluation record must be in good standing with your agency.

After your application has been received, it will be reviewed for eligibility and you will be contacted regarding your attendance in the training programs.

Federal or military students involved in criminal or intelligence analysis are eligible to attend.
 

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Priorities

FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police.
