A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a missing 67 year-old elderly man. The 67 year-old was located after entering a gas station asking for directions. At that very time, law enforcement was present and recognized the vehicle and photo from the Silver Alert which resulted in the safe return of the elderly individual.

February 2014- Polk County

A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 89 year-old man. He was recognized by a convenient store clerk. The clerk then notified the sheriff's office with information on his whereabouts. The 89 year-old was recovered and brought home safely.

February 2014- Palm Beach County

Upon entering the Spanish Market, a clerk recognized a 73 year-old woman as the subject of a Silver Alert. The clerk called law enforcement with information about the 73 year-old woman. The 73 year-old was located by law enforcement authorities and returned home safely.

March 2014- St. Lucie County

A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a missing 82-year-old man. A gas station clerk recognized the 82 year-old man and called law enforcement. Law enforcement notified the 82 year-old man's family, and the elderly man was taken home safely.

March 2014- Putnam County 

A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 69 year-old woman, who had been to several convenient stores. A clerk at one of the stores recognized the 69 year-old woman as the subject of the Silver Alert and notified law enforcement. She was located and was recovered safely.

March 2014-Charlotte County

A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 83 year-old man. A dedicated off-duty sheriff deputy saw the Department of Transportation road signs and was able to identify the vehicle. The sheriff deputy called it in and stayed with the vehicle and the 83 year-old man until the arrival of the appropriate personnel. The 83 year-old man was returned safely.

April 2014- Brevard County

After a Silver Alert was issued for an 82 year-old man, a gas station clerk recognized the missing person displayed on the Lottery Terminal. The clerk notified law enforcement and law enforcement was able to take the appropriate measures to assure 82-year-old man's safety.

April 2014- Broward County

A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a missing 78-year-old woman. The 78-year-old woman entered a convenient store and asked for directions. The manager of the store recognized her from the Silver Alert and was able to confirm the Silver Alert on her computer. The manager called law enforcement authorities, and the 78-year-old woman was returned home unharmed.

April 2014- Lee County

A Silver Alert was issued for a 79-year-old woman. After seeing a road sign projected with the Silver Alert information, a citizen spotted her vehicle and called law enforcement authorities. The citizen stayed with the 79-year-old woman until law enforcement authorities arrived and recovered her safely.
