EUSTIS, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) arrested Randall Lee Small II, 38, of Eustis, on 10 counts of prohibition of certain acts in connection with obscene, lewd, materials, which depicted minors in a sexually explicit manner. The arrest is a result of FDLE’s statewide initiative to locate and arrest criminals targeting children and sharing files depicting the sexual abuse of children.

The investigation began in August 2024 when FDLE agents received multiple cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), alerting agents to files depicting the sexual exploitation of children being uploaded through several social media accounts. Small was identified as the account user and his residence as the location where the IP address was being used.

Following an extensive investigation, agents served a search warrant on Small’s electronic device. Further forensic analysis located additional files depicting child erotica, some minors as young as six years old.

Small was arrested on March 13 and transported to the Lake County Jail. This case is being prosecuted by the Attorney General James Uthmeier's Office of Statewide Prosecution.

The FDLE Orlando Regional Operations Center cybercrimes task force is investigating this case.
