GROVELAND, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) arrested registered Florida sex offender Frankie Pineiro, 27, of Groveland, on 10 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of violation of sex offender probation. FDLE previously arrested Pineiro in 2019 for possession of child sexual abuse material.

Pineiro was found guilty of felony possession of child sexual abuse material in Lake County in 2020. He is required to register as a sex offender and he is on probation.

Pineiro was arrested on Sept. 18 and booked into the Lake County Jail where he is being held without bond. The case will be prosecuted by Attorney General Ashley Moody's Office of Statewide Prosecution.
