ICYMI: FDLE agents and analysts deployed in Operation Lone Star

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Nearly 40 FDLE agents and analysts are deployed to Texas in support of Operation Lone Star investigating criminal activity along the border associated with human trafficking and drug and weapon smuggling. 
 
FDLE agents have assisted Texas Department of Public Safety with 66 arrests of violent felony suspects including gang members and helped seize cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, firearms and boxes of ammunition.  
 
FDLE’s mutual aid team is coordinating the mission as is done with all EMAC (Emergency Management Assistance Compact) requests.
