ICYMI: FDLE Pensacola’s Cybersecurity meeting brings law enforcement, public together

PENSACOLA, Fla. – FDLE's Pensacola Regional Operations Center (PROC) held its Fourth Quarter Regional Domestic Security Task Force Cyber Meeting at the University of West Florida (UWF) Center for Cybersecurity yesterday.
 
The joint law enforcement and public partner meeting included briefings about the Northwest Florida Fusion Center, cyber trends in the area and educational opportunities offered by University of West Florida for the workforce. UWF also opened up their cyber range to the group and held a small tabletop exercise consisting of a hands-on scenario demonstrating a Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain process.
 
The meeting and tabletop was attended by 30 people consisting of partners within local law enforcement, federal law enforcement, banking institutions, school boards, community water companies, Board of County Commissioners and county/city governments.
