FDLE arrests Cape Coral man for child pornography

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Special agents with the FDLE Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber Squad arrested William Nimmons, 52, of 1113 SE 21st St, Cape Coral, on one count of promotion of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

FDLE agents served a search warrant yesterday at Nimmons’ residence and found a laptop computer that contained the child pornography.

Nimmons was booked into the Lee County Jail. Additional charges are dependent upon completion of forensic exams. The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit.
