Pensacola registered sex offender arrested for child pornography

 
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, with assistance from Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Homeland Security today arrested Hobart Arthur Simpson, 74, of 6763 Rickwood Dr. Pensacola, Florida. Simpson, a registered sexual offender is charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of transmission of child pornography.

FDLE agents executed a search warrant at Simpson’s residence this morning and several items of digital evidence were recovered for forensic examination.
 
Simpson was booked into the Escambia County Jail.  The State Attorney’s Office, 1st Judicial Circuit will prosecute this case.
