Domestic Security Task Force training exercise to be held at Capitol

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Members of the North Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force are conducting a full scale emergency training exercise at Florida’s Capitol on Monday, May 16 from 3 to 11 p.m.  
                           
The exercise titled, “Capitol Crisis” simulates an incident at Florida’s Capitol involving armed subjects in the complex.  The purpose of the exercise is to prepare first responders (law enforcement, fire and EMS) and to coordinate the multi-discipline response in the event of a real emergency.
 
Citizens will notice increased law enforcement and emergency response presence in and around the Capitol Monday evening.
