FDLE arrests Henry Arroyo, Jr. for lewd or lascivious molestation

 
KEY WEST, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Key West Field Office arrested Henry Arroyo Jr., 41, on charges of lewd or lascivious molestation by a person over 18 on a person under 12 and lewd or lascivious exhibition.  Arroyo is a former police officer with the Key West Police Department.  


FDLE agents began the investigation in December 2013, after the victim reported the abuse. Investigators believe the abuse began when the victim was 10 and lasted until the victim was 13.  

Arroyo turned himself in at 10 a.m.  He was booked into the Monroe County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.


This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 16th Judicial Circuit.
