Correctional Officer arrested for selling prescription pain pills

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Jacksonville Regional Operations Center arrested Clayton Whitley II, 45, and his son, Clayton Whitley III, 22, on charges of selling prescription pills out of their home.  Whitley II was a correctional officer at Baker Correctional Institution. 
 
FDLE agents began the investigation in December 2013, after receiving a tip that Whitley II was selling Oxycodone and Dilaudid out of his Jacksonville home.  Both men were arrested this morning without incident and booked into the Baker County Jail. 
 
Whitley II is charged with selling Oxycodone and Dilaudid and his son was arrested for selling Oxycodone.  The Florida Department of Corrections, Office of Inspector General, assisted in the arrest.
 
This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, Eighth Judicial Circuit.
