Cape Coral man arrested for possession of child pornography

FORT MYERS - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High Tech Crime Task Force, working in conjunction with the FBI, Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and the Fort Myers and Cape Coral police departments,arrested Amaury M. Ardila Sanchez, 34, of Cape Coral, Fla., for 10 counts of possession of videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children.  


Today, task force agents served a search warrant at his residence, 2204 NW 7th Place, Cape Coral, Fla., and located numerous digital videos of child pornography. 

Ardila Sanchez was booked into the Lee County Jail.  The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit.
