FDLE arrests Zolfo Springs man for sexual battery of a child

Zolfo Springs, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center Violent Crime Squad arrested Dennis Milton Lanier, 62, of Zolfo Springs, Fla., on one count of sexual battery, victim less than 12 and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation. 
 
The investigation began November 1, 2013 after the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office received a tip and contacted FDLE.  Lanier was arrested without incident and booked into the Hardee County Jail without bond. 
 
FDLE was assisted in this investigation by the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office. 
 
The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 10th Judicial Circuit.
