BONIFAY, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center, with assistance from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday arrested Andrew James Herbert, Jr., 31, of Bonifay, Fla. on 29 counts of possession of child pornography.
In September, the Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crime Squad began investigating persons utilizing the Internet to collect and distribute child pornography. On Nov. 6, 2013, agents served a search warrant at Herbert’s residence, 1152 Ten Mile Road, Bonifay, Fla., and located hundreds of digital images and video files of child pornography on his computer.
Herbert was booked into the Holmes County Jail. The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 14
th Judicial Circuit.
