FDLE arrests two for possession of child pornography

OKALOOSA COUNTY - Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crimes Unit, along with the Northwest Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested two Okaloosa County residents for child pornography. 
 
Today’s arrests stem from two separate investigations and followed search warrants executed at the homes of the suspects.   The Okaloosa County Sherriff’s Office assisted in the warrants and arrests.  Arrested were:
 
Daniel Loy Byrd, 71, 713 Powell Drive, Niceville, Fla., 10 counts of possession of child pornography. 
 
Samuel Mock, 26, 1504 Tommy Lane, Mary Esther, Fla., 10 counts of possession of child pornography. 
 
Both men were arrested at their residences without incident and booked into the Okaloosa County Jail.
