FDLE arrests former Tallahassee man for possession of child pornography

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crime Squad arrested Joshua Leo Woodyard, 21, on Dec. 23, 2013 at 3007 Brandemere Drive, Tallahassee, for 28 counts of possession of child pornography.

Woodyard is a former resident of Tallahassee and a member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Carson, Co.  He was on leave visiting the area. The investigation began after FDLE agents received a complaint from the principal of Community Christian School indicating that several juvenile girls alleged that Woodyard had been attempting to threaten them into sending him nude pictures.

Woodyard was booked into the Leon County Jail.  This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 2nd Judicial Circuit.
