Veterans

FDLE values the service veterans and their family members have given to our country and we support the hiring of returning service members and military spouses.

FDLE has established veteran recruitment goals with the intent to increase veterans’ awareness of employment opportunities within FDLE, as well as assisting veterans with the successful navigation of the general recruiting and orientation process within FDLE.

Agency Established Goals:
  1. FDLE will participate in job fairs exclusively for veterans.
  2. FDLE will create a recruitment workgroup which will include currently employed veterans.
  3. FDLE will advertise employment opportunities on its public website, in addition to People First, to expand veterans’ access to vacancies.
  4. FDLE will state in recruitment materials that the agency values the service veterans and their family members have given to our country and that the agency supports the hiring of returning service members and military spouses.
