Employment Information

If you are interested in employment with FDLE, you can use of any of the following resources:
 
  1. Visit the People First Web Site for information about applying or to apply for all current vacancies.
  1. Applications should be submitted on-line via the People First web site. Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on the closing date. If you have problems applying on-line, call the People First Service Center at 1-877-562-7287.
  1. If you are claiming Veterans Preference, you must meet the criteria and substantiate your claim by furnishing a DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) and any other required supporting documentation with your application.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Priorities

FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police. FDLE’s duties, responsibilities and procedures are mandated through Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC.
