Data Collection Section (Formerly Known as Uniform Crime Reports)
FDLE’s Data Collection Section (DCS) provides standardized reports on crime statistics based on data gathered from law enforcement partners across the state.
In 2021, Florida began collecting data in the Florida Incident-Based Reporting System (FIBRS). This is a more robust and dynamic data collection than our historical collection, referred to as the Summary Reporting System. Accordingly, the DCS data published here is split into FIBRS data and Historical Summary Data. Please note that the Historical Summary Data will no longer be updated due to the transition to FIBRS. Please see the homepage for that section for more details on the transition.
The UCR Summary Guide Manual (revised July 2023) and UCR Report Forms are available for download.
