The FDLE Mobile App FAQ's are intended to answer the most frequently asked questions about the FDLE Mobile App.  If you need additional computer or application related assistance, please contact FDLE’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-292-3242.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement's (FDLE) Mobile App provides a convenient way via mobile devices to access our public services and applications which promote public safety.

With the FDLE Mobile App, you can:
  • Search for Sexual Offenders and Predators who have registered an address to live or work near your phone location;
  • Search for Sexual Offenders and Predators by a name or physical address;
  • Search our open cases for missing and unidentified persons;
  • View the active AMBER alerts, Missing Child Alerts, and Silver Alerts;
  • Search for stolen property such as vehicles, license plates, boats, guns or other articles as well as wanted persons;
  • Search for a missing person and submit a tip related to the case;
  • Report suspicious activity that you may observe;
  • Search unsolved cases in Florida and submit a tip related to the case;
  • Sign up for Alerts offered by FDLE so you get the Alert when it is issued;
  • and much, much more!

    You may contact FDLE Headquarters at  (850) 410-7000 if you are unsure of the appropriate contact within a specific area.  Capitol Police, Regional Contacts, and Frequently Requested Contacts are available for a more direct phone call.
  1. Questions about using FDLE's Mobile Application
    FDLE's mobile application is designed to provide a convenient, secure interface to FDLE's public services. While the same features that are available on the full FDLE website, the Mobile App puts them in the palm of your hand. Security is never more than one or two clicks away!
  1. Does FDLE track me or use my information if I use the app?
    Absolutely not! FDLE does not track your usage or location and does not store your information entered into the app.
  1. What are the requirements for using the Mobile App?
    The FDLE Mobile App is a free download with no in-app purchases.  It is available thru the Google Play Store for Android devices and the Apple Store for iOS devices.
    • Android devices must use the Jelly Bean or higher operating systems
    • Apple devices must use an iOS of version 5 or higher
    • Devices and other operating systems are not presently available.
  1. What if I am having trouble using one of the features in the FDLE Mobile App?
    Each of the services accessed by the icons on the main screen have their own 'Help' listing. If you should experience issues while using a specific service, please refer to their 'Help' or 'Contact Us' section.
