The Florida Legislature established state funding under the Online Sting Operations Grant Program for Local Law Enforcement (Online Sting) to provide funding for local law enforcement agencies to support their creation of sting operations that target individuals who solicit children online.
This program is open to local law enforcement agencies in the State of Florida and is a cost reimbursement grant. Additional program and funding limitations apply and are listed in the Open Funding Opportunity listing.
FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police. FDLE’s duties, responsibilities and procedures are mandated through Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC.
