For Immediate Release
December 18, 2025
APOPKA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) arrested David Keith Beck Jr., 55, of Apopka, on six counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. This arrest is a result of FDLE’s statewide initiative to locate and arrest criminals targeting children and sharing files depicting the sexual abuse of children.
The investigation began in September when FDLE received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that an OpenAI user had accessed images depicting the sexual exploitation of children.
The investigation revealed the user, later identified as Beck, had downloaded images and videos depicting child sexual abuse with children as young as five years old. Additionally, investigators discovered that Beck had videos of young girls in bathing suits, which they later determined he had filmed, himself, at his place of employment.
On December 11, FDLE agents and the FDLE Special Operations Team served a search warrant at Beck’s residence and seized several electronic devices for further forensic examination. Beck was arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail. Beck may face additional charges following the outcome of the digital forensic analysis.
Attorney General James Uthmeier’s Office of Statewide Prosecution is prosecuting the case.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
