Law Enforcement Apprenticeship Program (LEAP)

This program provides funding to local Sheriff's Offices for the reimbursement of salaries and tuition for eligible deputy sheriff trainees. Funding priority will be given to Sheriff's Offices located in fiscally constrained counties and trainees who are being sponsored through law enforcement academy.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Priorities

FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police.
