FDLE and Union County Sheriff’s Office arrest shooting suspect

LAKE BUTLER, Fla. – After a joint FDLE and Live Oak Police Department investigation, agents and deputies arrested Ja’Darius Malik Nathaniel Bellesen, 19, Sanford, for shooting into an occupied dwelling. 

The investigation found that Bellesen shot into a home in Live Oak and then fled the scene.  No one was injured.  Agents and officers were able to locate him in Lake Butler and worked with Union County Sheriff’s Office to arrest him. 

Bellesen was booked into the Union County Jail.  The Office of the State Attorney, 3rd Judicial Circuit, will prosecute this case.
