For Immediate Release
July 28, 2021

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – FDLE agents arrested Robert Kevin McGinley, 72, of Melbourne, on two counts each of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation.

On June 4, the Wisconsin Department of Justice requested FDLE’s assistance with an investigation of a sexual battery that occurred in Florida. The Wisconsin agency had served a search warrant at a residence in that state and seized numerous items of video evidence. FDLE agents coordinated with them to identify McGinley as a perpetrator in one of the videos.

McGinley was booked into the Brevard County Jail yesterday on no bond. The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 18th Judicial Circuit.
