CARABELLE, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, along with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Carrabelle Police Department, arrested Jason Creek, 41, of Carrabelle, for two counts of sexual battery.

The investigation began earlier this month when agents received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Creek had exchanged sexually explicit messages indicating sexual intercourse had occurred with a 17-year-old victim. Agents discovered that Creek met the victim online through the child’s social media account.

Creek was arrested today and booked into the Franklin County Jail. The Office of the State Attorney, 2nd Judicial Circuit, will prosecute this case.
