FDLE arrests Sun City Center man for child pornography

 
SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. – Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents arrested Robert Christian Egger, 48, of 105 Sola Lane, Sun City Center, on 50 counts of possession of child pornography.

Following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, agents with the Cyber/High-Tech Crime Squad of FDLE’s Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center executed search warrants on digital accounts belonging to Egger. During digital examination of those accounts, agents found more than 1,000 child pornography files, including numerous child exploitation images depicting infants and toddlers.
 
Egger was arrested and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on $375,000 bond. The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney’s Office, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.
