FDLE agents arrest Brandon man on 100 counts of child pornography possession

TAMPA, Fla. – FDLE agents today arrested Arthur Travis Janes II, 37, of 503 S. Oakwood Ave., Brandon, on 100 counts of possession of child pornography and 1 count of transmission of child pornography.

In December 2018, FDLE received several tips that Janes was uploading child pornography to an Internet account. A search warrant was obtained. During an on-scene examination of an account belonging to Janes, agents determined that nearly 1,300 child pornography files had been uploaded. Agents seized Janes’ cell phone and other devices for further analysis.

Janes was taken to the Hillsborough County Jail. Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution will handle the case.
