TRENTON, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an arrest warrant for Darin Michael Fulton, 28, for unlawful sexual activity with a minor (794.05 F.S.) and two counts of transmission of material harmful to minors (847.0138 F.S.).  Fulton, a former FHP trooper, turned himself into the Gilchrist County Jail this morning.

The investigation began in February after agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  Agents believe Fulton engaged in a sexual relationship with a minor in January of this year.

Fulton was booked into the Gilchrist County Jail on $100,000 bond. This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 8th Judicial Circuit.
