TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Operation Ice Queen – a major joint investigation between FDLE Tallahassee, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office – is officially closed following the sentencing of the last of 95 defendants arrested in the sweeping case.

The investigation dismantled a drug trafficking operation operating in Bay and Calhoun counties, with one Marianna doctor, David Flick, identified as operating a pill mill from his residence, writing more than a thousand prescriptions for nearly 50,000 controlled substances over a nine-month period.

Great job to all of our agents and analysts, our law enforcement partners, and everyone who helped take down this criminal organization!
