FDLE arrests Clermont man for child pornography

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Thomas Baron, 62, of 12910 Sunset Avenue, Clermont on 10 counts of possession of child pornography. 

FDLE’s Orlando Cybercrime Task Force agents executed a search warrant at Baron’s residence today. During the on-scene digital examination, agents found evidence of child exploitation images involving pre-pubescent children on digital devices, which were seized for further analysis. These images depicted female children between eight and 10 years old.   

Baron was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail on a no bond status until first appearance before a judge. Additional charges are dependent upon completion of forensic exams. The Office of the State Attorney, Fifth Judicial Circuit will prosecute this case.
