HARDEE COUNTY, Fla. – FDLE agents arrested Michale Richard Allison, 24, of Zolfo Springs, for obscene communication with minor via computer, obscene communication with a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

FDLE began its investigation in July after meeting with the 10-year-old female victim, living in Madison County, and her relatives.  The child told agents she received a sexually explicit photo from an adult male through BIGO Live, a live video-streaming social media app.

An undercover agent, posing as the victim, began communicating with Allison. Allison repeatedly tried to coax the child into sending a naked photo of herself even after the undercover agent made it clear that he was communicating with a 10-year-old.

Agents were able to identify Allison as the suspect and arrested him this morning at his home in Zolfo Springs.  He was booked into the Hardee County Jail.  This case will be prosecuted by Office of State Attorney, Third Judicial Circuit with any additional charges to be prosecuted in the Tenth Judicial Circuit.
