FDLE arrests Escambia County man for possession of child pornography

ESCAMBIA CO., Fla - FDLE agents arrested Steven Ryan Godwin, 36, of 3512 Highway 97, Molino, for 20 counts of possession of child pornography.
 
In August 2018, FDLE agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and identified the suspect residing in Escambia County. Agents obtained a warrant and seized Godwin’s mobile phone which contained child pornography images featuring children under the age of 10, with multiple images including children younger than two years old.
 
Godwin was arrested yesterday and booked into the Escambia County Jail with no bond. Additional charges are dependent upon completion of forensic exams. The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney’s Office, First Judicial Circuit.
