FDLE arrests Branford man for child pornography

Branford, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, assisted by the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, arrested Joseph Roberts, 42, of 440 NW 96th Place, Branford, for 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
 
A search warrant conducted at Robert’s residence resulted in the discovery of multiple images of child pornography, most of them of children less than 10 years old and as young as 3-4 years old.
 
Roberts was booked into the Gilchrist County Jail. Additional charges are dependent upon completion of computer forensic exams. The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 8th Judicial Circuit.
