FDLE arrests Fort Myers man for solicitation of child

FORT MYERS, Fla - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Daniel Kunrod, 38, of 13410 Wild Cotton Court, North Fort Myers for one count of use of a computer to solicit/seduce/entice a minor, a third degree felony and one count of promotion of a sexual act of a minor, a second degree felony.

FDLE was contacted by the Nashville Police Department with information that a 16 year old female had been receiving sexually explicit chat messages from a person named Daniel Kunrod living in Florida. During chats with the child, Kunrod allegedly sent nude pictures and videos of himself. The investigation revealed Kunrod also requested the child send him sexual images of her.

Kunrod was arrested yesterday by agents and transported to the Lee County Jail. The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit.
