FDLE arrests New Symrna Beach man for child pornography

NEW SYMRNA BEACH, Fla. ­­­­­­– Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement today arrested Barry Cahoon, 72, of 1963 Turnbull Lakes Drive, New Symrna Beach, Fla., on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

FDLE agents served a search warrant today at Cahoon’s residence and located a computer being used to download child pornography.  An initial computer forensic review revealed 10 files of child pornography.

Cahoon was booked into the Volusia County Jail on $25,000 bond. This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 7th Judicial Circuit.
