Registered sex offender arrested for child pornography

ALTHA - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crime Squad, with assistance from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Douglas Bruce L’Heureux, 66, of Altha, Fla., for one count of distribution of child pornography and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.   
 
Following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, agents served a search warrant at the residence of L’Heureux, located at 25166 N. Main Street, Altha, Fla., and located numerous computer images of child pornography. 
 
L’Heureux was booked into the Calhoun County Jail. The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 14th Judicial Circuit. 
 
L’Heureux is listed on Florida’s sex offender registry for a 2003 federal computer sex crime.
