Five arrested for dealing in stolen property

GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Law enforcement officers with multiple agencies arrested five people for their alleged involvement in an organized theft ring. The investigation began in June 2011 after information was developed by the Green Cove Springs Police Department. During several undercover operations, the subjects purchased merchandise alleged to be stolen. 

                       
A joint investigation by the Green Cove Springs Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement , U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations and Target Special Investigations led to the arrests of the following individuals.
 
ABAS ISSA, 45, 291 Glen Eagles Rd, Orange Park, Fla.,   RICO, organized dealing in stolen property (5 counts), booked into the Clay County Jail
 
YOUSEF ISSA, 41, 1735 Walton Lake Ct, Fleming Island, Fla.  RICO, organized dealing in stolen property (3 counts), booked into the Clay County Jail
 
ANTOUN ARBAJI, 35, 490 Hillside Dr. Jacksonville, Fla., RICO, organized dealing in stolen property (3 counts), booked into the Clay County Jail
 
EMAD ABDULJABER, 46, 533 N. Bridgestone Ave, Jacksonville, Fla., dealing in stolen property, booked into the Clay County Jail
 
GEORGE SALAMEH, 54, 2615 Scott Mill Dr. South, Jacksonville, Fla., is being charged with various federal violations. 
 
A search warrant was executed earlier today at the V&J Store, Green Cove Wireless and More and a laundry mat, located at 526 Orange Ave., Green Cove Springs, Fla. The businesses are owned and operated by Abas Issa and Yousef Issa.
