FDLE arrests Hernando County man for child pornography

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center arrested Shane Edward Thompson, 39, for 10 counts of possession of child pornography.    

 
The Tampa Bay Cyber Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at Thompson’s home, located at 21427 Campbell Dr., Brooksville, Fla., and located numerous digital videos containing child pornography.  Law enforcement officers and agents from FDLE, Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Lakeland Police Department, and the Department of Homeland Security assisted with the search warrant and arrest.
 
Thompson was booked into the Hernando County Jail. The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 5th Judicial Circuit.
