The Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse is located within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and is designed to collect, store and disseminate information to assist law enforcement agencies in locating missing persons.

The Florida AMBER Alert, Missing Child Alert, Purple Alert, Silver Alert, and Blue Alert along with Florida's citizens, media, corporations, and businesses can assist in dramatically increasing the chances of a missing person's safe return.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Priorities

FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police. FDLE’s duties, responsibilities and procedures are mandated through Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC.
