Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program

The Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program provides funding to reimburse state, local and tribal agencies up to 50% of the costs of body armor vests purchased for law enforcement officers. Funding for this program is contingent upon availability as determined by the federal awarding agency. OCJG administers Florida’s BVP funding for state agencies only. Local and tribal governments are awarded funds directly from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
