Identify and Investigate Human Trafficking for Law Enforcement Officers

Florida Statute 943.17297 requires all law enforcement officers to complete four (4) hours of training in identifying and investigating human trafficking as part of the basic recruit training (BRT). Current officers who already completed the training have fulfilled this requirement. This course meets the requirements of s. 943.17297. The training may count towards a certified officer’s 40 hours of mandatory retraining.
