FDLE arrests two Naples men for child sexual exploitation offenses

TAMPA Fla.—Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Jacob Bruce Bickel, 22, and Michael Donald Roe, 18, both of Naples, Florida on multiple child sexual exploitation offenses.
Bickel, a registered sexual offender who was in the Sarasota County Jail on an unrelated investigation, was charged with six counts of transmission of child pornography, 37 counts of possession of child pornography, five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, two counts of certain uses of computer devices prohibited, three counts of transmission of materials harmful to minors and one count of failure to comply with sexual offender registration requirements.  He is being held without bond.
Roe was arrested for 20 counts of possession of child pornography and booked into the Collier County Jail by FDLE Fort Myers Regional Operations Center agents. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
Assisting in this investigation were FDLE agents from Tampa Bay and Fort Myers together with deputies and officers from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Homeland Security Investigations, University of South Florida Police Department, North Port Police Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Venice Police Department.
This case will be prosecuted by the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
