FDLE arrests Clermont man for cyberstalking

Orlando- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Orlando Regional Operations Center arrested Christopher Ryan Chupp, 36, of Clermont, Florida and charged him with one count of cyberstalking, a third degree felony.

 
FDLE initiated the investigation on March 23, 2012, at the request of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to Chupp cyberstalking a female victim and her family, who work and live in three separate counties (Seminole, Orange and St Johns). 
 
Agents were able to determine that Chupp, who resides at 2049 Fish Eagle Street, Clermont, utilized three social media websites.  
 
Chupp was out of jail on bond and awaiting trial on five (5) counts of unlawful sexual activity with minors, for a relationship Chupp had with the female victim in 2010. 
 
Chupp has been booked into the Lake County Jail and is being held on a no bond status. This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, Fifth Judicial Circuit.
