Welcome to the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute (FCJEI). The FCJEI offers a unique educational environment for criminal justice leaders in Florida. Goals of the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute are:
  • To deliver educational programs for Florida criminal justice executives.
  • To deliver seminars, workshops and other advanced programs for criminal justice professionals.
  • To conduct research in areas of interest to criminal justice issues.
  • To facilitate communication, networking and mentoring throughout the criminal justice system.
  • To increase the effectiveness of education for the Florida criminal justice system through the application of technology.


Florida Department of Law Enforcement Priorities

FDLE is composed of five areas: Executive Direction and Business Support, Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information, Criminal Justice Professionalism and Florida Capitol Police. FDLE’s duties, responsibilities and procedures are mandated through Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC.
