Task Force on the Monitoring Of Children in Out-of-Home Care 

 

The Task Force on the Monitoring of Children in Out-of-Home Care within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement was established during the 2023 legislative session. The task force was formed to identify and counter the root causes of why children go missing while in out-of-home care and to ensure that prompt and effective action is taken to address such causes.
