2019 Silver Success Stories

January 2019- Brevard County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 92-year-old female. A citizen recognized the 92-year-old from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
January 2019- Leon County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 82-year-old female. A Taylor County Sheriff’s deputy recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert “Be on the Lookout (BOLO)”.
 
January 2019- Indian River County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 87-year-old male. A citizen recognized the 87-year-old and called local law enforcement.
 
January 2019- Volusia County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 83-year-old male. A citizen recognized the 83-year-old and called local law enforcement.
 
January 2019- Dade County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 73-year-old male. An officer recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert BOLO.
 
March 2019- Saint Lucie County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 99-year-old male. A citizen recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert and called law enforcement.
 
March 2019- Sarasota County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 90-year-old male.  A citizen recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert and called the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

March 2019- Broward County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 86-year-old male. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert.
 
May 2019- Charlotte County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 87-year-old male. A citizen recognized the 87-year-old from the Department of Transportation dynamic message signs and called local law enforcement.
 
May 2019- Broward County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 79-year-old male.   A citizen recognized the vehicle from the Department of Transportation dynamic message signs and called FHP.
 
June 2019- Brevard County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 93-year-old male. A Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputy recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert.
 
June 2019- Lee County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 81-year-old male. The store clerk at a Citgo gas station recognized the 81-year-old from the Lottery System Silver Alert notification.
 
August 2019- Saint Lucie County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 84-year-old male. A road ranger recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
August 2019- Palm Beach County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 79-year-old male. Two citizens recognized the 79-year-old from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
September 2019- Seminole County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 82-year-old male. A Martin County deputy recognized the 82-year-old from the Silver Alert BOLO.
 
November 2019- Dade County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 80-year-old male.  A citizen recognized the 80-year-old from the Department of Transportation dynamic message signs and called local law enforcement.
 
November 2019- Pinellas County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 96-year-old male.  A physician at the Lee Memorial Hospital recognized the 96-year-old from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
November 2019- Broward County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 75-year-old female. A citizen recognized the vehicle from the Silver Alert and called the Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse (MEPIC) hotline. MEPIC called FHP to the exact location of the vehicle.
 
December 2019- Duval County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 70-year-old male. A citizen recognized the 70-year-old from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
December 2019- Escambia County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for a 71-year-old female. A nurse at the Sacred Heart Hospital recognized the 71-year-old from the Silver Alert and called local law enforcement.
 
December 2019- Palm Beach County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 89-year-old male.  Palm Springs Police Department located the 89-year-old at a gas station from the Silver Alert BOLO.
 
December 2019- Lee County
A Florida Silver Alert was issued for an 84-year-old female. The store clerk at a gas station recognized the 84-year-old from the Lottery System Silver Alert notification.
