FDLE arrests Umatilla man for child pornography

UMATILLA, Fla – Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents arrested Steven Trent Ellis, 48, of 40625 Plymouth Circle, Umatilla, on 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Agents believe there may be hands-on victims

Agents with FDLE’s Orlando Regional Operations Center Cybercrime Task force executed a search warrant on Ellis’ residence. During on-scene digital examination, agents found evidence of child exploitation images involving children as young as five years old.
 
The investigation is ongoing. Agents believe there may be hands-on victims and are seeking the public's help. If anyone has any information about Ellis, please contact FDLE’s Orlando Regional Operations Center at 407-245-0888.
 
Ellis was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail. The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney’s Office, Fifth Judicial Circuit.
