PERRY, Fla. ­­­­­­– Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, with the assistance of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, today arrested Edward Carl Pitts, 63, of 471 Leon Ward Road, Perry, Florida, on 4 counts of possession of child pornography.

FDLE agents, along with detectives from TCSO, executed a search warrant at Pitts’ residence and located a computer being used to download and share child pornography.  An initial computer forensic review revealed 4 files of child pornography. Additional charges may be added after a review of all the evidence is complete.

Pitts was booked into the Taylor County Jail without bond. This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 3^rd Judicial Circuit.
