Tallahassee man arrested for child pornography and methamphetamine trafficking

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, with assistance from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, arrested James Rimes, 41, of Tallahassee, Fla., on 12 counts of possession of child pornography and four drug charges related to a methamphetamine lab found inside his home at 1882 Wax Myrtle Road.  Rimes was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  He was arrested yesterday.   
Agents served a search warrant at his residence after investigators determined a computer within the home was distributing child pornography.  
Rimes was booked into the Leon County Jail.  The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 2nd Judicial Circuit.
